'HOME' ADVANTAGE: Goo Goo Dolls concurrently extend their record for most Adult Pop Songs top 10s, as "Home" becomes their 14th top 10 with an 11-9 advance. The group ranked at No. 2 with "Name" on the inaugural chart dated March 16, 1996. The band had last ranked in the chart's top bracket with "Before It's Too Late (Sam and Mikaela's Theme)," from the "Transformers: the Album" soundtrack in 2007.

"Home" introduces the Goo Goo Dolls' ninth studio album, "Something for the Rest of Us," which debuted on the Billboard 200 at No. 7 four weeks ago.

Here is a recap of the acts with the most trips to the Adult Pop Songs top tier:

Total Top 10s, Artist
14, Goo Goo Dolls
12, matchbox twenty
11, John Mayer
11, Nickelback
10, Sheryl Crow

"I want to say 'thank you' to our audience for keeping us busy for the last 15 years," Goo Goo Dolls' frontman John Rzeznik tells Billboard. (In addition to the band's 14 Adult Pop Songs top 10s, three of which - "Iris" (1998), "Slide" (1999) and "Give a Little Bit" (2005) - reached No. 1, Rzeznik added a solo top 10 with the No. 10-peaking "I'm Still Here (Jim's Theme)," from the animated Disney film "Treasure Planet," in 2002).

"It's an honor to be ranked with the other great artists that have dominated this format at radio."
