It's been a while since the Goo Goo Dolls have performed in New England and even longer since they have released new material. Thankfully for the band's fans in the area, the wait is over. The pride of Buffalo have revealed plans for a spring tour to test some new material and will stop in New Hampshire for a rare and intimate show at the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom on Thursday, April 15. Tickets for the show are $43.50 and go on sale today at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster.

The Goo Goo Dolls are gearing up for the release of Something For the Rest of Us, the band's ninth studio effort and first since 2006's Let Love In. No official release date has been scheduled, though it is expected to hit store shelves sometime this spring. The group recorded the new album in Buffalo and Los Angeles with co-producers by Tim Palmer (U2, Switchfoot) and Rob Cavallo (Green Day, Paramore).
