Goo Goo Dolls Hang Out At Hard Rock Cafe Denver

Concert ReviewAugust 22, 2011Hard Rock

Last week, Hard Rock Cafe Denver and Mix 100  hosted an intimate private acoustic show with the Goo Goo Dolls. Part of an ongoing series of shows Hard Rock has done with Mix 100, this show was the latest in a long line of excellent shows, which have included James Blunt, Jason Reeves, Duran Duran and others.

The band played 4 songs ("Slide," "All You Are," "Smash," and "Broadway"), took part in a Q&A with fans and then spent time taking pictures and signing autographs for everyone in attendance. The band also signed charity items for Hard Rock including their Pinktober Zildjian cymbal and charity guitars. These items will eventually be auctioned off in support of SafeHouse Denver, a great organization that helps battered women and children, and Bridge of Life - DaVita Medical Missions Foundation, and organization that fights kidney disease worldwide.
