"The Committee is ecstatic to bring the Goo Goo Dolls and Mike Posner to campus," said Chelsea Burghoff, production chair of the Bucknell University Concert Committee. "We are very fortunate to have a budget that supports such large acts and meets student demand. There has been an overwhelmingly positive response from campus and the surrounding community."

Tickets are $25 for Bucknell students and $30 for the general public. Remaining tickets may be available at the door on April 8.

Advance tickets are available in person from the Weis Center Box Office weekdays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; from the Barnes & Noble at Bucknell University bookstore box office in Lewisburg, weekdays and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday, 12:30 to 4 p.m.; or the Bucknell Campus Activities and Programs office on the ground floor of the Elaine Langone Center, weekdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Advance tickets also are available online or by calling 570-577-1000.

The Goo Goo Dolls formed as a garage band in 1986. Since then, they have received four Grammy nominations, produced 14 top 10 singles, and sold more than 10 million albums.

Their 1998 album, "Dizzy Up the Girl," with the hit song "Iris," was No. 1 on Billboard Charts for 18 weeks. "Iris" also appeared on the "City of Angels" soundtrack. "Dizzy Up the Girl" had three other top 10 Billboard hits. Their latest album, "Something for the Rest of us," was released in August.

Prior to the concert, non-perishable food items will be collected for donation to Community Harvest in Milton. Concert-goers may bring food to the main entrance of the Fieldhouse beginning at 5:30 p.m. Whoever brings the largest amount of food will win a meet and greet with the Goo Goo Dolls before the show.

An American singer, songwriter and producer, Posner released his debut album, "31 Minutes to Takeoff," in 2010. The album includes the Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 single "Cooler Than Me," his second single, "Please Don't Go," as well as his third single, "Bow Chicka Wow Wow" featuring Lil Wayne.

Posner performed at Bonnaroo and the 2010 Warped Tour. His first national television appearance on "Last Call with Carson Daly" was followed by appearances on "America's Got Talent," "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon," "The Wendy Williams Show" and "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno."
