Cutting Room Has a Busy New Year

The Cutting Room (New York City) started the year off with a bang with numerous session projects.

Avril Lavigne and Johnny Reznick of the Goo Goo Dolls collaborated in the studio's newly renovated studio B for a week. Steve Schopp engineered the sessions.

Atlantic Records artist Leslie Mills and producer Kevin Kadish spent quality time together in Studio A and B working on a new track for Mill's upcoming release. Dylan Margerum was behind the boards with assistant engineer Steve Rakidzioski.

Columbia artists The Bravehearts finished up their debut album on Studio A's SSL 9000 J console with engineer Jake Ninan. Also working on the J console were Silva Line Records artist Gordone, tracking and mixing with engineer Schopp.

Ed Holmes Management booked up time for sessions with artists Amerie and Cardan.

R&B artist Keon Brice (EMI Publishing) worked in Studio B with engineer Joe Nardone on tracks for his future release.

Inside Studio A were Deck, tracking and mixing with engineer Rock Logic and assistant Marco "Polo" Bruno.
