It pays to be seen buying your rock hero's records, as far as GOO GOO DOLLS frontman JOHN RZEZNIK is concerned - he met his current girlfriend in a Manhattan, New York City, HMV store. The girl in question wasn't even aware that Rzeznik was looking over her shoulder as she was buying copies of his album for a hospital charity auction. He says, "She was out to raise money for this hospital charity she was working with and we started talking and I thought, 'Wow, I really like this person.' "I invited her to a show and that's how it started." The romance is getting so serious, Rzeznik is considering giving up life in Los Angeles and moving back to the east coast. He adds, "She doesn't really like Los Angeles. She wants to move back so I'm thinking about moving back (to New York). I could definitely live in Brooklyn because her family is from Staten Island, so that would just be one trip over the bridge." Only one thing stands in the way of the big move - house prices in New York. The rocker moans, "I was looking at apartments in New York and I can't believe how expensive it is."
