Miller Lite Rock 'n Racing Concert July 9, 2009

Rock band the Goo Goo Dolls will be the headline act for the Miller Lite Rock N’ Racing concert at Chicagoland Speedway on Thursday, July 9, MillerCoors and Chicagoland Speedway announced today. The concert will once again take place at the track’s Miller Lite Pit Stop, located in Champions Park, following NASCAR Sprint Cup Series qualifying. Large crowds are expected for NASCAR Pole Day and the concert, so guests are encouraged to arrive early.

“The Goo Goo Dolls is a great addition to an already action-packed weekend. Those fans are in for a great day at the track,” said Dockery Clark, Miller’s director of sports and alliance marketing. “Our Miller Lite Rock N’ Racing program is about creating memorable experiences for race fans, which this day at Chicagoland Speedway will most certainly do.”

The concert is free with the purchase of a NASCAR Pole Day ticket, which provides fans with general admission access to watch practice and qualifying runs for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. A Track Pack, which ranges in price from $195 to $260, includes admission to six (6) races over two (2) event weekends, including the track’s inaugural NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race on Friday night, August 28.
