American rock legends Goo Goo Dolls are preparing for a live concert in Manila. With the help of Random Minds Inc., the show is scheduled to be on Feb 11, 2017 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. Here they come ready to celebrate 30 years of blessing huge stadiums, releasing chart-topping singles, and garnering Grammy nominations with their music.

The band remained consistently relevant, entering the 21st century with a fruitful chain of music releases. from like Gutterflower (2002), Let Love In (2006), Something For The Rest of Us (2010), Magnetic (2013), and this year’s Boxes.

Frontman John Rzeznik is fueled with passion as he shares his wishes for their latest album. “I want people to listen [to the music] hard. I want them to read the lyrics. I want them to be ecstatic and I want them to cry. I want them, at the end of it, to feel satisfied.”

With anthems that have outlived decades, they’ve successfully avoided being stuck in a time by being proactive in the growth and development their sound, experimenting with new guitar tunings, melodies and odd-timed rhythmic patterns.

The long awaited visit promises every one of their Filipino fans an unforgettable performance that doubles as a personal experience. “I want them to take a little piece of it for themselves and own it. Make it their own,” says Rzeznik.
