Don't worry, Johnny isn't going anywhere. The Goo Goo Dolls frontman just thought he'd countdown 10 songs he would like played at his funeral, which is a surprisingly eclectic mix of ethereal soul, indie rock and funk.

And on a happier note, the Goo Goo Dolls' ninth studio album, 'Something for the Rest of Us' recently debuted at No. 7 on Billboard's 200 album chart, which you can download here. Check out Johnny's funeral song list and commentary below!

10
'When Things Seem Hopeless...'
Carl Zittrer & Paul Zaza (From 'A Christmas Story')
This is from the part of the film where Ralphie is most hopeless about getting his Red Ryder 200 shot air rifle.

09
'I'll Be Seeing You'
Billie Holiday
Just the most soulful version of this song.

08
'You Ought to Be With Me'
Al Green
Just think it's funny.

07
'Is There a Ghost'
Band of Horses
I plan on haunting a lot of people's houses, especially the ones who owe me money.

06
'No More "I Love You's"'
Annie Lennox
I want some tears shed, so this one will get 'em crying. Don't care that they may be for the song and not me -- good dramatic effect.

05
'Subterranean Homesick Blues'
Bob Dylan
Get it? Subterranean? Homesick? ...forget it.

04
'E-Pro'
Beck
Has a great beat. You can dance on my grave to it. Everyone can sing along.

03
'Hallelujah'
Leonard Cohen
Just seems appropriate for a funeral.

02
'Closing Time'
Tom Waits
Something to toast me with at the final, last call.

01
'(Don't Worry) If There's a Hell Below, We're All Going to Go'
Curtis Mayfield
Just don't want anyone getting anxious about me being in a better place. I'll see them all again someday...
