GOO GOO DOLLS ANNOUNCE NEW SINGLE COLLABORATION WITH CHAD KROEGER
Alternative
rock band the Goo Goo Dolls have revealed that their next single will
be a duet with the frontman from the 'How You Remind Me' band,
Nickelback, and is called 'Oh no they didn't.'
John Rzeznik, lead
singer for the Goo Goo Dolls, explains that he fell in love with Chad
Kroeger's vocals and knew they had to work together so collaborated on
this track. According to John "The song is called 'Oh no they didn't'
and it's with Chad Kroeger and it's one of my favourite songs ever, that
I've ever written. I love his voice, I love his voice so much."
"John
just called me to do a song and it's hot.", Kroeger explains. "He
wanted to do a duet so we got together and did it. I think our voices go
really well together."
A release date hasn't been set, but the bands will release a preview of 'Oh no they didn't' on their websites later today.
The
Goo Goo Dolls are an American rock band formed in 1986 in Buffalo, New
York. The band is composed of guitarist and vocalist John Rzeznik,
bassist and vocalist Robby Takac. The band's newest album, Magnetic, was
released on June 11, 2013. The Goo Goo Dolls will embark on an acoustic
tour starting April 7, 2014 in Syracuse, NY. This summer they will be
headlining a US summer tour with Daughtry and Plain White T's.

is a Canadian rock band formed in 1995 in Hanna, Alberta. The band is
composed of lead guitarist and lead vocalist Chad Kroeger, rhythm
guitarist, keyboardist and backing vocalist Ryan Peake, bassist Mike
Kroeger, and drummer Daniel Adair. The band is currently working on a
new album, to be released in 2014.
