Buffalo Foodies

Robby Takac founded the Goo Goo Dolls (then known as the Sex Maggots) in 1986 with John Rzeznik, since then they have toured all over the world, sold millions of copies of their 9 studio albums and have become arguably the most successful musicians to call Buffalo, NY their home. What I’ve always enjoyed most about Robby has been his love of Buffalo, NY and his dedication to improving the area. In 2004 he founded the charity Music is Art where the goal is to showcase the impact music has on a social, cultural and educational level in Western New York.
I got a hold of Robby on twitter and in between flying around the United States and being with his wife and their newly born daughter, he sent me some answers about his favorite places to eat/drink in Buffalo. Here’s the places he loves to go when he’s not on tour…

Greek – Mythos
Italian – Chef’s Restaurant

Thai – Jasmine Thai or Saigon Cafe
