Anthony M. Bongiovi has been signed to direct an extended set music DVD featuring the Goo Goo Dolls, during a huge concert by that band in their hometown of Buffalo, NY, on July 4th, 2004. The project will be a 13-camera, high-definition shoot. Bongiovi has previously directed the Goo Goo Dolls for their ?Sympathy? music video.

Bongiovi, a brother of rock star Jon Bovi, recently directed the Bon Jovi DVD ?This Left Feels Right Live Limited Edition? DVD, which was a hit release for Island/Def Jam Records/Universal Music Group. He is also the founder of TBJ Entertainment, Inc., an award-winning, full-service, multi-media production company specializing in production of concert videos, live events, TV programming, featuring films, and commercials.

The Goo Goo Dolls will perform on the steps of Buffalo?s City Hall in Niagara Square on July 4th, with the city expecting over 70,000 fans to celebrate along with their hometown heroes. A huge fireworks display will also take place. Buffalo?s Mayor Anthony Masiello has proclaimed July 4, 2004, as ?Goo Goo Dolls Day in the City of Buffalo.?

Said Johnny Rzeznik, lead singer for the Goo Goo Dolls, ?It?s going to be a massive party, and a great way to showcase the city.?

The DVD which Bongiovi will direct, will be released later this year by Warner Bros., and will highlight Buffalo, New York, with a tour of the city?s architecture and culture.

About Anthony Bongiovi:
For the past 20 years, Anthony Bongiovi has toured the world, producing dozens of videos for his brother Jon?s band Bon Jovi. Even as a child growing up in New Jersey, Bongiovi was in love with cameras, and began shooting Bon Jovi?s live shows during the ?Slippery When Wet? tour (16 months?54 countries.)

Following his initial world tour, Anthony became a sought-after music video director. He won MTV?s ?Highway to Fame? Video Competition with a rendition of AC/DC?s ?Highway to Hell? video by the band Bad Biscut. From that point, he began directing and editing music videos for numerous other up and coming bands, in addition to his continuing work with Bon Jovi.

From 2002-2003, Anthony once again toured the world with Bon Jovi, concurrent with the band?s ?Bounce? tour. Not only does he now direct all live Bon Jovi shows, but also contributes to the staging and ?look? for all of the band?s tours. For the ?Bounce? tour, Anthony wrote and directed nine cinematic, intertwining ?mini-motion picture vignettes,? which accompanied the band?s live performances, playing on huge screens. The band and its management were so impressed with these vignettes, that they re-released the record as a ?Limited Collectors Edition? with the ?bonus DVD? included.

At present, Anthony is pursuing future directing assignments within the areas of television, feature film, live events, concert DVD, and TV commercial spots.
